The next iteration of the Great Lakes Strings conference series will be held at UChicago on the weekend of April 13-15, 2018. The UChicago theory group looks forward to hosting this event in its new facilities in the Physics Research Center on campus.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Lakeshore/La Quinta which has free parking available to guests. Be sure to call the LakeShore/LaQuinta directly at 773-324-3000 and mention that you are reserving a room to attend the Great Lakes Strings Conference (don't use the national reservation system; they are unaware of our contract for the block of rooms at the local affiliiate).
If you would prefer a somewhat more upscale hotel near campus, you may want to consider the Hyatt Place Chicago - South as an alternative. There is a parking garage (not free) nearby; street parking is often hard to come by.
