The large-charge EFT for non-relativistic systems.
A brief review will be given of the large-charge effective field theory (EFT), which is a non-relativistic conformal field theory which describes the superfluid state of unitary fermions in the far infrared. I will then describe recent work which considers Schrödinger symmetry deformations of the large-charge EFT due to finite scattering length and effective-range effects. Several topical applications will be considered, including special nuclear reactions with low-energy neutrons in the final state, and the excitation spectrum of ultracold Fermi gases at and near unitarity.
