Floquet CFTs and Conformal Cooling.
In this talk, I will introduce an exactly solvable setup of periodically driven conformal field theories(CFTs), and its application in quantum cooling when the system is initially prepared in a thermal state. We show how a subsystem of the driven CFT can be cooled down to zero temperature by studying analytically the time evolution of the reduced density matrix of the subsystem.
