Towards a Haagerup field theory.
Algebraic properties of topological defect lines(TDLs) in a 1+1d field theory encompass the structure of a fusion category. Thus, given a particular fusion category, one might hope to construct a field theory whose TDLs realize the categorical symmetry. In this talk, I will introduce a topological field theory together with a full set of axiomatic data whose defect fusion rules realize the Haagerup fusion categorical symmetry, as well as a numerical investigation of a Haagerup fusion chain.
